Lenormand Anchor Card Method of Reading

This is a way of working with Lenormand that I often use when I want to do a three or a five card reading.

The idea is that one card becomes an anchor or focus for a specific question to be read upon and everything else is read in relation to it.

The thing That I love about reading this way is that rather than trying to look at everything at once, we are asking Spirit to bring clarity to one particular area.

I've always found that when we do that, the surrounding cards naturally seem to line up around that theme, making it much easier to see the influences at work, the connections between them, and the information that is most important for that person at that time.

For example, if you want to look at money, you might anchor on the Fish card.

As you focus on Your question and the fish card The cards They end up surrounding the fish as you focus and shuffle, begin to build a picture around that one theme, showing what is influencing it, what is supporting it, what may be standing in the way, and where things are naturally moving.

It's a simple technique, but it can completely change the way you approach a reading.

In this workshop, we'll look at how to choose an anchor, how to work with the surrounding cards, and how to let the reading naturally unfold without losing focus.

Once you become comfortable working with anchor cards, you'll find that larger systems like the Box Spread and eventually the Grand Tableau become much easier to navigate.
