Tarot Square of Nine

The Tarot Square of Nine is one of those spreads that you can adapt to almost anything. You can use it for relationships, work, money, a decision, a situation that is developing, or simply when you want to understand what is really going on beneath the surface.

What makes this spread so useful is that it doesn't just give you an outcome. You are looking at what is influencing the situation, what is actually being done about it, how those actions and influences are being received, and what all of that energy is creating or is in the process of creating.

This gives you a much fuller picture than simply asking, "What is going to happen?"

And this is where I think the Square of Nine is absolutely brilliant. If you don't like the outcome you are seeing, or you're not crazy about the direction things appear to be heading, you don't have to stop at the outcome card and assume that everything is set in stone.

This spread shows you what is influencing the situation. You can ook at the actions being taken, how they are being received, and what those actions are creating.

Very often, the spread will show you exactly where something needs to change.

That might mean changing what you are doing, approaching someone differently, dealing with an influence that has been affecting the situation, or simply recognizing that the current course is creating an outcome you don't want.

You can use this spread with Lenormand, and when reading with Playing Cards with just as much versatility.
